Grinning as he wrapped his arms around her with a comfortable sigh as he kissed her head. “I hope you are.” Turning off the light from the switch next to the night table he laid his forehead to the top of her head and he closed his eyes getting ready as well.
Barbie nods her head and takes a deep breath. “Don’t worry… I am.” Barbie smiles and finally closes her eyes, thrilled to finally be sleeping in the arms of the man she loves.
Ted took a minute to actually process Barbie’s words as he got dressed, not looking disturbed or even scared about it, just thinking. “Works for me.” he replied calmly as he walked back over the bathroom to hang his towels, kissing her on the lips as he passed by and giving her a soft stroke on the cheek before walking back to bed.
Barbie smiles to herself and walks slowly behind Ted. She lays next to him and continues smiling. “I’m glad you’re home… Now I can be happy again.” Barbie kisses Ted’s cheek and lays her head on his chest, getting ready to sleep.
